Sterilization and degassing principle of Hydroxyl Radical (-OH)
The titanium dioxide stimulated by the light energy of ultraviolet rays is ionized into electrons (e-) and holes (h+) that exceed the energy band. The generation of hydroxyl radicals (oxidizing power of 2.8), sterilizes and decomposes harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds (benzene, toluene, xylene).
